Ritan baby.

Anyways, just wanted to see if I could do another one of those realistic-ish portraits. Answer turns out to be... not really. I tried. Started really late and then changed his face towards the end so the ref I used: [link] wasn't even all that helpful. Particularly because I think he didn't really look like how Ritan would be anyways so I kept adjusting it.

And then as soon as I finished I realized this looks almost exactly like the version that Many did. :iconming3plz: Total coincidence bro, I swear.

All of that aside, though, Ritan's such an adorable character, especially because he vents about how other people are always protecting him and it makes him feel like a child. I can totally see him having this very serious moment just saying, look, you don't always have to protect me.

Took some liberties adding details to his goggle. Hope you don't mind, Haz.

... and the bg was supposed to be some weirdly lit hallway in Polaris except you can't see anything thanks to his big head. :iconpaplockplz:

P: My answer to that question would be YES you can do realism, i like his facial expression and his eyes, man i wish i could draw like this DX nice work, and please continue to try this out more, well, you dont have to do what text on th screen tells you but yanno, i think you should do more because im loving them. selfish i know :P
