_{I'm not from Texas myself but I really liked the idea of a southern girl because of all of the ones I met in college and am friends with. Please forgive me if anything I say about Aly offends you in some way?

Personality:
Aly's a sweet girl. She is energetic, optimistic, and enjoys a cup of sweet tea every afternoon (because she's so sweet, get it? Haha/shot). However, on the downside, she can get violently angry and stubborn when pissed off, becoming rather vicious and catty in the process. Thankfully she is a relatively calm person most of the time, and it takes a lot to send her off into a rage. As she hates holding grudges, she is also usually quick to recover from her rages to become a likable person again. (tl;dr - don't piss her off or she will make your life miserable for a day. Be her friend instead.)

Unfortunately, she has the tendency to speak rather quickly, as she has a rather hasty nature in general. She considers time a precious resource and doesn't like to waste it. However, given that she also has kind of a heavy southern accent, she could be difficult to understand to foreigners for whom English is not their first language. She is very aware of this and is constantly trying to fix it, but she slips every now and then.

She's also a huge sucker for romantic movies and flowers and any kind of gifts, really. She like to show her affection by giving people hugs, and considers this a normal thing. Sometimes Aly could act rather unladylike, as she enjoys really crass jokes and laughs endlessly at them, sometimes snorting in the process. For the majority of the time, Aly could be considered a 'girly girl'. She enjoys her share of gossip and swooning over attractive men, as well as shopping for shoes online in her spare time.

- Prudes, people who make fun of her accent, milk chocolate, snoring, holding grudges, debts

Strengths and Abilities: As a former long-distance runner, Aly's light on her feet and has good endurance. She's cheerful and quite optimistic and can be found in good spirits most of the time. Her dad taught her how to hunt using a gun, so she has some concept of aim and shoot. Her most valuable assets, however, are probably her observational skills and cognitive abilities, as she is quite intelligent and can be rather cunning when she is determined to outsmart someone. She's very driven and becomes extra motivated in competitions, given that she hates to lose.

Faults and Weaknesses: She has a runner's build, so she doesn't have a lot of physical strength. She's fairly loud, and almost never hesitates to voice any complains or issues she has against someone (or something), which may make her difficult to deal with at times. She actually hate the sight of blood, which is one of the reasons she opted to join the Intel division rather than one of the other ones at Milizia. She can be a bit mule-headed when she gets angry, though, and can make brash or even stupid decisions and lose all sense of reasoning.

Biography:
Born and raised in Texas to two political science professors, Aly grew up with the talk of war and international relations in her house. She's familiar with the material, but thought little of it. She graduated from high school with a track scholarship to university while her older brother enrolled in the U.S. army.

Fast forward into her second year, she had quit the track team to focus on her computer science and teaching degree when she heard that her brother was killed in battle after walking into an ambush. Grief-stricken but driven nevertheless, she graduated a year early from her university to apply to Milizia, having heard of its prestige from her parents before. Aly believed that she will be able to prevent future deaths like her brother's once she is trained to do so by better preparing soldiers for the conditions they head into through information gathering and analysis. She avoided American schools, deeming them incompetent for certifying the idiots who let her brother walk into a trap. The girl has little taste for bloodshed, but believes that it is a necessary evil. She doesn't know much about combat otherwise, but is looking forward to experience nevertheless.
